Sri Charan Lakkaraju, founder of Student Tribe, has submitted a letter to the Prime Minister’s Office endorsing the PM Internship Programme as a “masterstroke” for Indian youth. In his letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he advocated for the inclusion of final-year students, emphasizing the impact of internships in shaping their careers.
Expressing gratitude for initiatives like the PM Internship Programme, set to benefit 10 million students, Sri Charan, with over 15 years of experience in student community-building, highlighted the program’s role in equipping students with essential skills and exposure.
“To fully leverage the PM Internship Programme, it’s crucial to include final-year students, potentially expanding the program to another 2 million students and better preparing them for the workforce,” he noted.
The proposal also recommends engaging students through zonal initiatives and a robust online presence to ensure opportunities reach students nationwide. This aligns with Student Tribe’s mission as India’s largest and fastest-growing student community, dedicated to empowering students and helping them achieve their goals.
Sri Charan Lakkaraju’s support of the PM Internship Scheme reflects his commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for youth and contributing to national growth.
