Students will be given enough time to prepare before CBSE board exam: Education Minister

The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ conducted a live webinar on December 10 addressing students’ concerns regarding the upcoming board and competitive exams. There were many questions raised by students regarding the conduct of JEE, NEET and CBSE board examinations amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Some of the important points made by Pokhriyal during the live webinar included:

Pokhriyal also mentioned about the conduct of CBSE board exam this year, stating, “It is worth mentioning that even in the time of pandemic, 91 percent of the class 10th students passed the CBSE 10th Board exam this year. A total of 16 lakh students of 17 lakh 50,000 students appeared in the exam and 13 students scored 499 out of 500. A total of 10 lakh 50,000 out of 12 lakh students passed the CBSE 12th exams. It is incredible.”

“I am sure students will soon return to the school life as the situation nowadays is changing in the country,” he added.
