Sukanta Parida, Director of Admissions and Marketing at Centurion University in Odisha, was named the ‘Most Innovative Marketing Strategist’ at the Connect 4.0 summit. The award was presented at the Collegedunia Excellence Awards 2024 in New Delhi. The event, which was attended by officials like Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai and Senior Economic Advisor Santanu Mitra, focused on the theme ‘Envisioning India’s Education in 2047: Harnessing Future Technologies to Elevate Educational Outcomes.’
In his acceptance speech, Parida highlighted the importance of adapting educational delivery to the evolving demands of industries and students. He emphasized the need to raise awareness about skill-based education and thanked Collegedunia for the recognition.
Earlier this year, Centurion University was recognized as an ‘Outstanding Skill University’ at the World Education Summit. It was also ranked 18th in the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings 2024 for its contributions toward Sustainable Development Goals.
Centurion University is known for its extensive on-campus manufacturing units and industry-sponsored labs. It offers a wide range of courses, including Aerospace Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, and Allied Health Sciences, among others, and provides credit-based lateral entry modules to help students complete their education.
