Overview

Summer Fields School, Gurgaon is an English medium co-educational school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was founded under the aegis of the DLF Management in 1987 in a residential unit.

Over the years, the school has expanded into three wings housed in three different buildings. The school aims at equipping its students with knowledge and confidence to face the competitive world and carve a niche for themselves in the society.

Campus

Summer Fields School campus hosts 5 wings for Pre-primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels. Each wing is fully equipped with modern facilities and infrastructure. The school houses fully equipped and well maintained science laboratories, a well stocked library and a well equipped computer lab. The school provides transport facility for fixed routes.

Academics

Summer Fields School is an English medium school affiliated with CBSE and offers classes from Pre-Nursery through class XII. Primary classes (class I to V) are taught English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Art & Craft, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Sports, Yoga and Information and computer technology.

Special attention is given to spoken English, conversational skills and reading. Upper primary classes (class VI, VII & VIII) are taught English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Science, Physical Science, a third language, Socially Useful Productive Work such as Drawing and Painting, Dance and Music, Health and Physical Education, Home Science, Clay Modelling, Computers, Life Skills, and Value Education.

Co-Curricular:

Admission

Pre Primary admission is conducted on first cum first serve basis till the seats are full. Students seeking admission to any class are required to have their names registered by depositing required registration fee along with the filled in registration form.

Students migrating from other schools are required to produce their age proof, transfer certificates and mark sheets/progress reports from their previous school before they can be enrolled.

Senior class admissions are based on merit and on the recommendation of the Admission Committee.

Age eligibility for admission to Pre-Nursery is 2.5 years on April 1 of the year of admission and for Nursery it is 3.5 years on April 1 of the year of admission.
