Overview

Symbiosis International University (SIU) is a private coeducational, multi-institutional university located in Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nashik, Noida and is managed by Symbiosis Society. Symbiosis International University was conferred “Deemed to be University” status by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2002.

SIU aims at to participate in the task of inculcating knowledge and hone skills which are vital to the young graduates and post graduates who passes out from the University.

Campus

Symbiosis International University has campuses in Pune at the following locations:

1. Lavale, Pune – The campus hosts three eateries, hostels, a gymnasium, a state of the art auditorium, a helipad, the Symbiosis Centre for Research & Innovation (SCRI), the Symbiosis Teaching Learning Resource Centre (STLRC) and other facilities for the benefit of students.

2. S. B. Road, Pune – The 138 sq km S. B. Road campus hosts a library, language labs, gymnasium, swimming pool, transportation, auditorium and yoga classes.

3. Hinjewadi, Pune – The Hinjewadi campus hosts gymnasium, auditorium, library, sports and swimming pool.

4. Viman Nagar – The campus provides amphitheatre, auditorium, Cafeteria, Gymnasium, Library, Hostel Facilities and sports.

5. Atur centre, Pune – The Atur Centre campus is located in the heart of the city and houses institutes that conduct non-residential programmes. It consists of two adjacent buildings where classes are conducted.

6. Kirkee – The Kirkee campus stands tall as a centre of higher education amidst serene surroundings. The campus features attractive architecture in an environment-friendly setting.

At present, the university offers 83 academic programmes, which include 29 Post Graduate Degree programmes, 22 Under Graduate Degree programmes, 18 Post Graduate Diploma programmes, 13 Diploma programmes and a Doctoral programme.

Undergraduate Programmes

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET Test) is the gateway for Under Graduate Programmes of Symbiosis International University. Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for the admission processes of undergraduate Institutes of Symbiosis International University.

Post Graduate Programmes

Symbiosis National Apptitutde Test (SNAP Test) is the gateway for Post Graduate Programmes of Symbiosis International University.

In the Entrance Test candidate is judged on his/her English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and Analytical & Logical Reasoning

Achievement

Symbiosis International University was conferred "Deemed to be University" status by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2002. The university was re-accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’ and CGPA of 3.58 on a four point scale.
