Overview

Founded in 2000, Tridha, Andheri (E), Mumbai is an English medium coeducational day school affiliated with the Cambridge Assessments International Examinations (CAIE), UK and offers schooling from kindergarten through class XII.

The Steiner curriculum at Tridha prepares the students for the IGCSE examinations. Subjects for the IGCSE exams are covered along with other specialised subjects included in Steiner Curriculum.

Tridha believes that a child’s development must be carefully and lovingly guided for him or her to become a truly productive human being.

The school campus hosts classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, well-stocked library and playground.

Academics

Affiliated with CAIE, UK, Tridha imparts education from kindergarten through class XII. The curriculum is divided in following programmes:

Pre-primary – Language development, dexterity, math skills, social skills, creative thinking, crafts, handwork, games and regular outdoor play is a part of curriculum in pre-primary level. The school provides seven different Gym Pune kindergarten programmes catering to children between 3 years to 6 years and 1 play group serving children between 2 years to 3 years of age.

Primary (Class I o VI) – Children explore basic academic concepts such as addition and reading through storytelling, painting and music. Their skills in reading, writing, spelling, composition, and grammar is woven holistically throughout the curriculum.

Middle School (VII to X) – Students start to expand their view on scientific concepts through experimentation and exploration of hypotheses while gradually making a shift to the IGCSE curriculum.

A and AS level – The students in classes XI and XII are exposed to the economic, political, social problems of their society. To understand these issues better they work in a corporate environment as well as NGO.

General Information

Admission

1. Admissions are on first come first basis, except for siblings, teachers’ children, students from other Steiner schools (outside of Maharashtra applying for Grade 1 upwards) and those who have attended the Steiner Education Course.
2. To apply, applicants may download the form, duly fill it, attach the required documents, and submit it in the office with a nominal application fee.
3. Forms are accepted throughout the year on school working Saturdays between 9.00 am to 12.00 noon.
4. Parents may register themselves for an orientation program, which happen couple of times a year. It is compulsory for both the parents to attend the orientation.
5. Once the form is submitted, parents and their ward will be called for a group meeting if there is a vacancy.
6. At the group meeting an admission registration fee of Rs 2000/- will have to be paid.
7. The parents and children will next have to meet the admission committee.
8. Decision for acceptance is made by the Admission team.
9. Parents will get a call within a week’s time about the decision.
10. The fee payment is expected to be made within a week’s time following which the admission is confirmed.

Achievement

Tridha is regarded as one of the best co-educational day schools in Andheri, Mumbai.

Accommodation

Being a day school, it does not provide accommodation facility.
