This is why Human Resource Development is a real and long-term investment, observed Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis at the inauguration of new buildings of the Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering and Narsee Monji Institute of Management Studies and the laying of the foundation stone of a new academic complex promoted by the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal on the campus.
Commending the management, the chief minister said that the state government has created a fund to help new entrepreneurs. He noted that an ‘Educity’ with leading international universities will be set up on a 250 acre plot in Navi Mumbai. Land will be provided for a world-class stadium for students and youth from the area he said,adding that . an expert committee has been formed to increase the height limit of educational structures.
Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan outlined the historical evolution of India’s education system, the need for change, and the way forward.
The programme was attended by the chancellor of NMIMS University Amrishbhai Patel, MLAs Parag Alavani and Amit Satam, former MLA Kripashankar Singh, educators and students among others.
