Vimaltai Tidke (VT) Convent was founded in 1987 as an English medium co-educational school in Nagpur. The school is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) and boasts 2200 students and 75 staff members with classes from nursery to higher secondary.
The school aims to “make students co-manager of their education so the knowledge is imparted in a stress free environment where teachers and students take joy in their work free from fear of appraisal and ranking”.
The school has tied up with Meghe Smart Academy to impart in-service training to the faculty on an ongoing basis.

VT Convent follows the Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE) curriculum and strives to impart stress free education at all levels. Development of reading and writing skills is stressed upon in the primary and senior classes with students being involved in various activities and projects. The educational software “EUREKA”, which helps in clearing basic concepts in Science and Maths, is also available for the students.

Co-curricular activities form an integral part of the schooling process; picnics and excursions are arranged for the students and co-curricular activities such as debates, elocution, recitation, essay competition, collage, music and dance are encouraged. A child who has completed 2.5 years of age as on June 30, is eligible for nursery, while a child who has completed 3.5 years is eligible for KG I. The duly filled in application form needs to be submitted at the school office along with all the required documents.
