Amazon India announced the registration dates for the fourth edition of its Machine Learning (ML) Summer School, a free program designed to equip students with key ML skills. Registration is open from May 31 to June 21, 2024. The course runs over four weekends in July, covering topics like Supervised Learning, Deep Neural Networks, and Generative AI.
The program is open to engineering students in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programs from recognized Indian institutes, graduating in 2025 or 2026. Eligible students must pass an assessment, and the top 3000 will be selected for the course.
Rajeev Rastogi, VP of International ML at Amazon, highlighted the program’s role in meeting the high demand for ML talent by providing students with practical and theoretical ML training. Previous participant Prabash Male praised the program for its impact on his career, leading to an internship and subsequent role at Amazon.
Since its launch in 2021, the program has seen significant growth, with over 61,000 applicants in 2023. Amazon India is dedicated to advancing ML education and preparing future tech leaders.
