Anant National University, in partnership with India Accelerator (IA), has launched Swaastha, a dedicated Healthcare Accelerator Programme. This initiative aims to support start-ups in India’s healthcare and allied sectors with deployment-ready solutions.
India’s healthcare industry is rapidly growing and is expected to reach US$ 638 billion by 2025. Swaastha seeks to meet the increasing demand for better healthcare facilities through constant innovation, fostering collaboration among start-ups, academic institutions, and industries. The programme focuses on areas such as drug discovery, new-generation diagnostics, digital health, genome sequencing, and AI-driven healthcare solutions.
By leveraging the combined expertise of Anant National University, India Accelerator, and the participating start-ups, Swaastha aims to drive groundbreaking advancements in healthcare. This collaboration will enhance the quality of healthcare services and develop new technologies to improve patient outcomes and public health.
Dr. Anunaya Chaubey, Provost of Anant National University, expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing the power of interdisciplinary work in driving healthcare innovation. Arindam Mukhopadhyay, Partner and Head of Corporate Innovation at India Accelerator, highlighted the programme’s potential to transform the healthcare start-up ecosystem by combining industry expertise with design thinking.
