ARISE announces its flagship School Education Conference

November 20, 2024

The ARISE School Education Conference 2024, in collaboration with FICCI, will take place on December 13-14, 2024, in New Delhi. This landmark event will bring together policymakers, educators, and industry experts to address the challenges of a rapidly evolving educational landscape. With 350-400 delegates expected, including government officials, regulators, think tanks, and institutions, the conference aims to explore policy reforms, showcase proven educational practices, and foster national and international collaborations.

Founded in 2016 under FICCI, ARISE has become a prominent voice for private schools in India. In 2024, it evolved into an autonomous non-profit body, representing over 1,350 schools, 85,000 teachers, and 1.4 million students. “What makes us unique is the fact that we work together, and not in confrontation with, the governments and policymakers,” said Prabhat Jain, ARISE President and Director of Pathways World School. ARISE’s contributions, such as the Model Code on Fee Regulation (2017) and its role in shaping the NEP 2020, highlight its commitment to sustainable education reforms.

This year’s conference comes at a critical time when disruptive technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping education. The event will focus on preparing students for the demands of the future by equipping them with essential skills and fostering adaptability.

A key objective of the conference is to strengthen collaborations between the K-12 sector and the government. By advocating for enabling policies, ARISE aims to create a supportive environment for private schools, which account for 25% of the total schools but serve 50% of total enrollment.

Prominent speakers, including Richard Culatta, Prakash Nair, and Dr. Parul Minhas, along with leaders from regulatory bodies like CBSE and CISCE, will share insights during the event.

The ARISE School Education Conference 2024 promises to be a transformative platform, driving innovation, partnerships, and forward-thinking strategies to empower schools, educators, and students in navigating the future of education.
