Overview

Bal Bhavan School, Bhopal is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 1975, Bal Bhavan School, Bhopal aims at adopting an integral approach towards physical, educational, emotional and psychological development of the children. The school caters to about 2400 students from class I through XII attended by 106 faculty members. The school’s motto is ‘Knowledge Ennobles Character Endures’.

Campus

The 2.25 acre school campus hosts a well stocked library, well equipped science labs, computer lab, dance room, music room, medical infirmary, an indoor games room and a playground.

Academics

Affiliated with CBSE, Bal Bhavan School offers education from class I through XII. The school has deployed NIIT eGuru that offers holistic education solution for schools that utilise technology and encompass all components required to service the present and future learning needs of the students. The NIIT eGuru suite consists of ‘Interactive Classrooms’ for teachers, math lab, mobile science lab, IT wizard, and a learning lab for students.

Bal Bhavan School, Bhopal has also implemented idiscoveri’s XSEED academic solution that delivers higher learning and understanding amongst children compared to regular teaching methods. General Information

Admission

Parents must first collect the registration forms and submit photo copies of the last two years’ annual report cards along with the registration forms.

Admission is based on performance in the written examination and personal interviews. A common entrance test is held in the last week of March every year for admission up to classes X and in the last week of June for classes XI and XII. Candidates selected for admission are expected to join in April/July. Parents are required to accompany the candidates for the interview.

Students are tested in English, mathematics and Hindi (classes I to V), English, mathematics, science (class VI to X) and English and Elective subjects (XI and XII).

Children are tested on the curriculum of the previous class completed by them.

Fees

The annual tuition fees are as follows:

Classes I to VIII: INR 24600 + 5000 (payable in July or at the time of admission)

Classes IX to XII: INR 25200 + INR 5300 (payable in July or at the time of admission)

Admission Fee INR 10,000/- (at the time of admission only)

Caution Money INR 2000/- (refundable)

Achievement

Bal Bhavan School has been awarded the IT Excellence Award in 2003 by the honorable President of India APJ Abdul Kalam for imparting best IT education in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh.

Bal Bhavan School also secured the International School Award instituted by the British School in 2014-16.

Being a day school, Bal Bhavan School, Bhopal does not offer accommodation facility.
