Based on a true story, Anand Kumar is a mathematician based from Patna, India. The story follows about how he works his way through challenges towards success before running the Super 30 programme, where he teaches poor kids who want to join IITs.

Naina Mathur is an aspiring teacher with Tourette syndrome. Soon, after she lands a teaching job in an elite school, where everyone makes fun of her, she shows how to turn one’s weakness into their biggest strength.
Ram Shankar Nikumbh (Aamir Khan) – Taare Zameen Par
The film explores the life and imagination of Ishaan, an 8-year-old dyslexic child and his teacher, Ram Shankar Nikumbh. He attempts to improve Ishaan’s reading and writing by using remedial techniques developed by dyslexia specialists and further develops his interest in his studies and eventually help him improve his grades.
Vidya and Jyoti (Shabana Azmi & Juhi Chawla) – Chalk n Duster (2016)
The film revolves around two teachers Vidya (Shabana Azmi) and Jyoti (Juhi Chawla), who are teachers at a Mumbai high school. It is their passion for their profession that helps them bond with the student and forms the crux of the story.
Shekhar (Abhi Bhattacharya) – Jagriti
The film is about a spoiled rich kid, Ajay, who is sent away to a boarding school by his uncle. The boarding school is run by Shekhar, who is known for his unorthodox teaching methods. He educates the students about how to become good citizens first.

Ravi is asked to home tutor five mischevious kids. The kids misbehave with every teacher that enters their household and forces them to run away. The story follows how Ravi succeeds in reforming them.
