Expert Advice Nicholas G. Carr

“Today, no one would dispute that information technology has become the backbone of commerce. It underpins the operations of individual companies, ties together far-flung supply chains, and, increasingly, links businesses to the customers they serve. Hardly a dollar or a euro changes hands anymore without the aid of computer systems.”

— Nicholas G. Carr
Writer and technologist

Steve Ballmer“The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn’t think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential.”

— Steve Ballmer,
CEO Microsoft (2000-2014)
