What is Journalism?

Journalism refers to the collection, creation and distribution of news and information through print and electronic media such as newspapers, magazines, blogs, television and social networking sites.   • Responsibilities of a journalist include researching and investigating stories to publish interesting and significant news
  • Building contacts to maintain a flow of news and get leads on a variety of stories
  • Interviewing people to obtain credible sources for news reports
  • Producing accurate and concise reports in compliance with the media house’s style and adhering to strict deadlines
