CBSE reopens portal for registration of class 9, 11 students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday, January 8, 2021, re-opened the registration portal for the schools to register their students of classes 9 and 11 on its official website cbse.gov.in on or before February 13, 2021. A notice regarding this decision has been uploaded on the board’s official website.

According to the notice, the old affiliated schools can register their left out students of class 9 and 11 with a late fine until February 13. Old affiliated schools are also allowed to fill their ‘List of Candidates’ (LOC) for their left-out students in classes 10th and 12th till February 13.

Earlier, the CBSE announced the schedule for classes 10 and 12 board exams which will begin on May 4. As per the datesheet, the exams for class 10 will conclude on June 7 with Computer Application paper, while those for class 12 will conclude on June 10.

The practical exams will be conducted from March 1. Usually, practical exams are conducted in January and written exams begin in February and conclude in March. However, the exams are delayed this session in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
