The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will be interacting virtually with presidents and secretaries of CBSE Sahodaya school complexes today at 2 pm. Pokhriyal will discuss changes in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum and school process for the academic session 2021-22, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Over 1,000 CBSE school heads are expected to participate in the programme.
According to a Twitter post by the minister, it read, “I will be interacting with more than 1,000 CBSE school heads and discuss their role in the effective implementation of NEP 2020 at the grass root level.”

As per a notification by CBSE, “The Honorable Shiksha Mantri Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will participate in an Interaction Programme with the Presidents and Secretaries of CBSE Sahodaya School Complexes to be organized virtually on January 28, 2021 at 2 pm.”
The board also said, “Beginning from this interaction, CBSE will be steering the orientation programmes through its 250 active Sahodaya School Complexes in the country to create awareness about NEP 2020.”
The detailed exam date sheets are yet to be released. It would be available on the official website, cbse.gov.in as and when released.
Pokhriyal had earlier announced that CBSE board examinations will be conducted for classes 10 and 12 from May 4 to June 10, 2021. The practical exams will be held by May 1, 2021. The results are expected to release by July 15, 2021. 30 percent of the syllabus has been reduced and the exams will be held offline, that is, in the written mode.
