CBSE to announce new board 2020 exam dates after lockdown

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the Class 10 and Class 12 board examination 2020 rescheduled dates and evaluation plan once the lockdown gets over. Last week, the Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said that a plan is ready for conducting the pending CBSE board exam 2020. Besides, the strategy of evaluation of CBSE board answer scripts will also be announced soon.

In view of the the coronavirus pandemic, CBSE will likely held exams only for only main subjects that will be required for promotion to higher educational institutions. Furthermore, it has been informed that the board will give notice of about 10 days to all stakeholders before starting the board examinations.

The CBSE also announced it will introduce Design Thinking, Physical Activity Trainer and Artificial Intelligence as new subjects for class 11 from 2020-21 academic session, said officials. To make the new generation more creative, innovative and physically fit, and to keep pace with the global developments and requirements at workplace, the board is introducing the three new subjects, said Biswajit Saha, Director Training and Skill Education, CBSE.
