Two innovative schools from New Delhi and Madhya Pradesh have been named finalists for the World’s Best School Prizes 2024, competing against global institutions for a share of a USD 50,000 prize.
Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj, is a finalist in the “Environmental Action” category for tackling water scarcity and pollution through projects like hydroponics and biogas plants. CM RISE School Vinoba, Ratlam, is competing in the “Innovation” category for its achievements in public education, originally focused on tribal girls in an urban slum.
Ryan International has integrated environmental education across all grades and planted over 5,000 saplings in Delhi. CM RISE School has been recognized for its community-driven approach, improving education through partnerships and innovative practices like integrating local festivals into learning.
The World’s Best School Prizes, founded by T4 Education in collaboration with Accenture, American Express, and the Lemann Foundation, celebrate schools’ contributions to society. Winners in five categories—Community Collaboration, Environmental Action, Innovation, Overcoming Adversity, and Supporting Healthy Lives—will be announced next month, with each winner receiving USD 10,000.
Finalists will also attend the World Schools Summit in Dubai on November 23-24, where global education leaders and top schools will come together to transform education.
