Delhi University School of Learning rolls out admission for 2022-23

Delhi University School of Learning is inviting applications for admission to its UG, PG courses for the academic session 2022-23. Interested candidates can apply till October 31, 2022. Admission to these courses will be on the basis of their Class 12th marks and CUET score is not mandatory.

DU SOL is inviting applications for admission to 10 previously running courses and to six newly launched courses.

The 10 courses for which DU SOL admissions will be conducted are – BA (programme), BA (Hons) English, BA (Hons) Political Science, BCom (Hons), BCom, BA (Hons) Economics, BBA (Financial Investment Analysis), Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences (BLISc), Master of Library and Information Sciences (MLISc).

The six newly introduced courses are, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Arts-Economics (Hons), Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences, and Masters of Library and Information Sciences.

The newly launched BBA, MBA courses have been approved by the Distance Education Bureau and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The university has adopted the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022 under National Education Policy (NEP) 2022 for its distance learning courses.

SOL DU Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Programmes

Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis): The candidate must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 65 per cent with 60 per cent in maths.

Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS): Candidate must have secured 60 per cent marks in Class 12 or its equivalent examination with 60 per cent marks in Mathematics.

BA (Honors) Economics: The candidate must have secured atleast 60 per cent marks in their school passing examination.

Post Graduate Courses

For the PG Courses , the mandatory eligibility is that the candidate should have passed graduation from a reputed university. Now, similar to the undergraduate courses, different postgraduate courses may also have different requirements in terms of merit. For MBA, the candidate must have at least 50% marks in graduation from any recognised university. So, it is advisable that the candidates should check out the cutoff that they require to show in their graduation marks to get admission in any of the postgraduate courses in DU SOL.

  • BA (Honors) Economics: Rs 5,500
  • BLISc: Rs 8,020
Postgraduate Programmes

  • MLISc: Rs 8,920

DU SOL Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Students can apply for admission through the official website. Here are the steps which the candidate can follow to successfully apply for admission:

Step 1- Fill the application form for all the UG courses by following the below-listed steps:

Step 2- Register on the official website of DU SOL

Step 3- Login and fill the application form with respect to all the necessary details

Step 4- Upload the required documents and click on submit

Step 5- Pay the registration fees online and save the final Application form

Step 6- Print the fee receipt and print the ID Card

Step 7- Visit the designated SOL center and get your document verified

Documents Required:

  • Duly filled application form
  • Bank draft of the admission confirmation fee
  • Two recent passport size photographs (one for the application and another for identity card)
  • Self-attested photocopy of Class X & XII Certificate
  • Self-attested copy of graduation marks sheet (all years)
  • Original Provisional Certificate of Graduation for current year students (other students will have to submit the photocopy of degree certificate)
  • Migration Certificate in original
  • Self-attested photocopy of Reserve Category Certificates of the candidate only
  • Original Income Certificate (BPL Ration Card)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
