Pradhyumna Singh Rathod, an alumnus of the Class of 2023 of Emerald Heights International School, Indore has made the school and country proud by securing 35th place in the 2023 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom World Championships held in Krakow, Poland from August 15-20, 2023.
Pradhyumna’s outstanding performance marks the highest rank attained by any Indian participant in the history of World Championships.
As a testament to his exceptional skills, he has earned a well-deserved spot in the upcoming Senior World Championships and Olympic Qualifiers scheduled to take place in London this September.
In the Euro-Asian Championship, which took place in Altai, Russia from July 27-30, 2023, Pradhyumna achieved the prestigious Best Youngest Paddler Award. The championship witnessed participation from over 150 athletes in this category.
Pradhyumna showcased exceptional talent and dedication, securing the top spot in the quarter-final, which led him to qualify for the semi-finals of K-1.
