The placement season has begun at al the Indian Insitute of Technology (IITs) from December 1. On the very first day, as many as 272 offers were made at IIT Roorkee. An offer of 80 lakh per annum package has also been offered.
A total of 265 companies are slotted for IIT Roorkee campus placements this December. The companies which visited the campus on the first day include Alphonso, Amazon, Analog Devices, AppDynamics India Pvt. Ltd., Bajaj Auto Ltd.,Codenation, Cohesity, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Intel Technology Pvt. Ltd., Jaguar Land Rover, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Micron Technologies Operations India LLP, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm India Pvt. Ltd., Quantbox Research Pvt. Ltd., SAP Labs, Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), Sprinklr India Pvt. Ltd., Squarepoint Capital, Texas Instruments, Uber and Vedanta Limited (Cairn Oil & Gas).
Comparing the highest domestic CTC, this year has already recorded at 80 lakhs package in comparison to the 60 lakh package of 2019-20. Besides, the pre-placement offers stand at 153 – last year it was 139.
