Singla speaks to EducationWorld about how Coding Ninjas has ensured the continuity of learning amid the novel coronavirus pandemic. Excerpts from the interview:

Amid the Covid-19 crisis, how has Coding Ninjas used its online platform to help children continue learning?

Due to the corona uncertainty, we have introduced a 60 days Course Pause feature for our students. Through this, they can pause and extend their course for up to 60 days and easily continue with their college and semester exams, even if the college reopens in between the course.

We have been organising insightful webinars every week for students on various programing topics, placement and career opportunities with our in-house and guest faculty, offering relevant industry exposure to the students and help them clear their doubts.

We have also been hosting short-form and long-form online coding events for our students to practice their skills with dynamic problems to utilise their time efficiently. One such event is our Ninja Prep Test Series to prepare our students for the technical interview rounds in Product-Based and Service-Based companies.

You can find the webinar on Dynamic Programming here.

Does Coding Ninjas also offer placements? If yes, which are some of the topmost companies the students have been placed in?

Introduced in 2019, Career Camp is a pay later model by Coding Ninjas where students undergo a rigorous six-month-long online training and pay a part of their salary to Coding Ninjas once they receive the job offer. It has the potential to disrupt the existing education market and bring large scale impact in improving India’s education system. Coding Ninjas attained annual revenue of USD 2 million in an organic bootstrapped model before it raised INR 37.18 Cr in a Series A funding from Info Edge Private Limited in February 2020. The freshly raised funds will help coding Ninjas scale the online tech education business of the company, strengthen the tech and content and help expand into new business territories. The investment will also be used for scaling its new offering Career Camp – which is an Income Sharing based payment model.

Our hiring partners include Talent 500 by ANSR, Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Cuemath, Walmart, OLA, Zomato, Shuttl and many more.
