MCD appoints one teacher in each municipal school as ‘Nature Coordinator’

Uttarakhand: CM Dhami launches smart classroom project

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has launched an innovative program where one teacher from each municipal school is designated as a ‘Nature Coordinator.’

These coordinators are responsible for promoting and conserving nature within the school environment and instilling a deep sense of gratitude and commitment to nature among the students.

The MCD ensures active student involvement through eco clubs, plant cultivation, organizing environmental activities, and the creation and supervision of kitchen gardens.

These initiatives fall under the purview of MCD’s education department programs, specifically “Prakriti Humse and Hum Prakriti Se.” It’s important to note that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi encompasses 250 wards across the city.
