International students planning to begin their higher education journey in Fall 2025 have a new funding opportunity to explore. Prodigy Finance has announced a total of $39,000 in scholarships across eight awards, aimed at students from around the world who demonstrate ambition, resilience, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact through education.
The application window opens on March 14, 2025, and closes on April 14, 2025. Applicants are required to submit essay-based entries that share their personal stories, aspirations, and vision for the future.
“We’re not looking for perfect resumes or textbook answers,” said Sonal Kapoor, Global Chief Business Officer at Prodigy Finance. “We want to understand who you are—the challenges you’ve overcome and how your education will help you shape the future. Be real, be bold—thoughtful, honest applications always stand out.”
Scholarships Offered
The scholarships span six categories, with several dedicated to African students and female leaders. The breakdown is as follows:
- Prodigy Finance General Scholarship – 2 awards of $5,000 (Open to global students)
- Esade Future Female Leaders Scholarship – 1 award of $8,000 (For global female students)
- Study North Carolina Student Matching Scholarship – 1 award of $1,000 (For global students attending eligible institutions)
- Prodigy Finance African Student Scholarship – 2 awards of $5,000
- University of Louisville – African Student Matching Scholarship – 1 award of $5,000
- Indiana University – Maurer School of Law Matching Scholarship – 1 award of $5,000
