In Rajasthan’s Kota district, a government schoolteacher named Mohammed Sattar has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a five-year-old girl and dislocating her arm bone, as reported by the police on Sunday.
The arrest took place on Saturday evening following a complaint from the father of the girl, who is a Class 1 student at Khedarasulpur government senior secondary school. The case has been registered at the Kaithun police station in the district, and the accused teacher is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday, according to Circle Officer (Kota Rural) Gagendra Singh.
The girl’s father claims that Sattar assaulted his daughter in school on Saturday. The teacher has been charged under the Indian Penal Code and the SC/ST Act, as stated by Circle Inspector Harlal Meena from Kaithun police station. Sattar is alleged to have thrashed the girl and pulled her arm, resulting in the dislocation of the bone. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
