Red Rose School, Lambakheda, Bhopal is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and the Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal. Founded in 2003, Red Rose School, Lambakheda is part of the Red Rose Group of schools and institutions spread across Bhopal. Red Rose School, Lambakheda is the only CBSE school in Bhopal to be accredited with Cambridge Certification, UK.
The school’s motto is “We Create Future Prospects” and the school’s mission is to create people who are capable of doing new things, not simply following what other generations have done – people who are creative, inventive and discoverers.
The 4 acre school campus comprises a well stocked library and learning resource centre, spacious classrooms with extensive display boards, well equipped labs for physics, chemistry and biology, two state of the art computer labs, art and craft room, music room and an AV room.
The school also has a swimming pool and facilities for sports such as table tennis, basket-ball, badminton, cricket, roller-skating, football, hockey, kabbadi, kho-kho, volleyball and rugby.
According to the school, it follows a child-centered method of imparting learning and emphasises on self discipline and moral values. The curriculum from class I to X is based on the CBSE guidelines and lays emphasis on excellent English communication skills and knowledge of computer applications. The school believes in providing children with opportunities to develop in natural surroundings and engages them in activities and games that harness creativity.
In classes XI and XII, the school follows curriculum offered by the Madhya Pradesh Education Board.
The extracurricular activities include dramatics, music, painting, carpentry, paper craft, scouts and guides, needle-work, dance – Indian and western. Besides these, the school promotes groups and clubs such as science activity council, music club, association of literary languages, arithmetic club, young generation commerce association, eco club, environment club, literary and cultural club.
