Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya: Quality Circle Program

With immense pride and joy, SKV Quality Circle shares the inspiring journey of the Quality Circle initiative at Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya (SKV), Gwalior.

Introduced in 2019, this dynamic Human Resource Development technique encourages students to work in teams to identify, analyse, and resolve real-life challenges through innovation and collaboration. Since its launch, the program has significantly contributed to the holistic development of our students and has been recognised across Chapter (regional), National, and International platforms. After qualifying the previous level, the team can present the innovative ideas of the relevant solution in the next level.

SKV’s journey began with just one team comprising six enthusiastic students. Guided by a committed coordinator, a dedicated team facilitator, and the visionary leadership of principal, Nishi Misra, this initiative has flourished into a vibrant community of thinkers, problem-solvers, and changemakers. 

Over the years, students have addressed topics ranging from environmental issues to personal growth and behavioural wellness, and have taken active roles in identifying and solving real-world problems, gaining confidence and essential skills through teamwork and structured problem-solving —positively impacting both their surroundings and themselves. This far-reaching initiative has become a cornerstone of our school’s culture, instilling life skills and fostering a sense of social responsibility.

Global Participation

SKV students have completed 15 impactful case studies and have proudly represented India through at the international conventions in Jakarta and Sri Lanka in 2022 & 2024 respectively and are now working on 3 case studies to be presented in Taipei and Dubai this year. These enriching experiences gave them a global stage to showcase their talent, creativity, and hard work.

SKV’s commitment to quality and innovation has been recognised with several notable honours:

– Best Organization Award 2022 (Private Sector) – Awarded by QCFI for sustained growth and quality implementation in the organisation.

– Best Organization Award 2024 – Conferred by QCFI, Gwalior Chapter, to the organisation head for continued excellence.

– Super Performer Award – QCFI, Gwalior Chapter presented to Mrs Nishi Misra, principal, for her exemplary leadership and unwavering support to QC initiatives. 

– Best Coordination Award – QCFI, Gwalior Chapter Twice awarded to Ms. Geeta Jadon, QC Coordinator, for her outstanding contribution to quality education.

In addition to group efforts, students have excelled in individual categories, including:

– Poster Designing, Slogan Writing, Poetry and Essay Writing on quality themes

– Skit Competitions based on the “5S” methodology 

Looking ahead to the future, the school’s commitment remains strong—to innovate, to collaborate, and to lead with purpose. Through this initiative, SKV students continue to bring pride to Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, India’s No. 1 boarding school.
