Shiv Nadar University Delhi NCR’s Young Thinkers Forum (YTF) Summer School 2025 witnessed record participation, drawing over 110 high school students from 15 states and 50 schools across India. The week-long residential program, held on the university’s Greater Noida campus, offered an immersive university-style learning experience for students in Grades 9 to 12 through hands-on workshops, field visits, and project-based learning.
The 2025 edition featured more than 30 sessions spanning disciplines such as mathematics, science, astronomy, entrepreneurship, robotics, botany, and design. A standout highlight was the newly introduced Robotics Tech Tinkers Program, where students from Grades 7 to 12 built robots and rovers and interacted with advanced humanoid robots. The program also included workshops led by industry leaders like Sony India, WWF India, Milagrow Humantech, and HCL Guvi, providing students exposure to cutting-edge technology and real-world applications.
In addition to academic enrichment, the programme emphasised personality development and career guidance. Students participated in an environmental excursion to Amarpur Harit Upvan, a reforested green space showcasing community-led sustainability efforts. The summer school also welcomed international participants, further enhancing its diverse learning environment.
Vinnie Mathur, chair of the Young Thinkers Forum, highlighted the programme’s commitment to expanding educational horizons and nurturing the potential of India’s youth through multidisciplinary, hands-on skill-building experiences.
