Taurian World School (TWS) is a co-educational residential and day school spread across 50 acres in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and admits students from lower kindergarten through class XII.
Promoted by the Taurian Group of Companies, TWS was founded by Amith Bajla in 2008. TWS believes in “enabling children to become capable citizens who will soar high to follow their dreams and aspirations”. The scenic 50-acre campus has modern well-equipped classrooms, comfortable dorms, besides an art gallery, a meditation centre, a well-stocked library, a music room, a multimedia room and an exploration room. TWS is affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, offering education to students from lower kindergarten through class XII. To make learning special and interesting, the school follows the 5-E teaching model i.e., engage, explore, explain, elaborate and evaluate. Apart from offering special educational programmes, TWS takes to interactive models of teaching and activity-based learning to aid every student grasp what is being taught. A classroom strength of 25 ensures that the student-teacher ratio does not cross 7:1. Students have access to modern home science, math, science and language laboratories.
Extracurricular: Taurians are encouraged to give equal importance to curricular and extracurricular activities. There are dedicated instructors for arts, dramatics, music and dance. The students partake in community service as well.

SportsAdmission is open from lower kindergarten through class XII. Students are required to write an admission test and go through interviews before being admitted. The student’s birth certificate, along with his/her progress report from the previous school the child studied in is necessary at the time of admission, besides other details.
Fee: Annual school fee for day scholars ranges anywhere between INR 1, 17,000/- and INR 1, 77,000/- and between INR 1,85,000/- to INR 2,86,000/- for boarders. Details on the fee structure are available on the school website.
