Telangana’s Women and Child Welfare Minister D Anasuya, also known as Seethakka, assured at an event on Tuesday that the Congress government is committed to providing retirement benefits to Anganwadi teachers and helpers. She announced that a Government Order (GO) addressing this issue will be issued shortly.
“For those approaching retirement, there is no need to worry. The GO will be issued. Despite delays related to the farm loan waiver, we have committed to providing Rs 1 lakh for helpers and Rs 2 lakh for teachers, which is an increase from the previously provided Rs 50,000,” she emphasized.
Anasuya also highlighted the importance of environmental conservation, urging everyone to participate in planting saplings with the motto ‘plant for the future’. She underscored the government’s dedication to fulfilling its promises, despite the challenges posed by other ongoing initiatives.
