The Chintels School, Kanpur is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school was promoted in 1989 by Mrs. Anurag Vij with an objective to impart quality education to children. With classes from playgroup through class XII, the school aims at teaching its students to strike the right balance in their life.
The 2 acre school campus hosts 96 well ventilated, airy and well lit classrooms, 25 ICT enabled classrooms, well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, math and computers, a well-stocked library featuring 20,000 books, 50 subscribed magazines (India Today, Outlook, Readers Digest, Children’s Digest, BBC Knowledge, and Bal Vihar) and 4 newspapers (The Hindu, Times Of India, Dainikjagran and Umar Ujala).
Other facilities include dance and music room, and an infirmary.
Sports infrastructure includes playgrounds, a skating rink, gymnasium and swimming pool.
Affiliated with CISCE, the school offers classes from playgroup through class XII. The school’s pedagogy is a unique blend of Inductive and Deductive Instruction coupled with inquiry based learning and collaborative learning.
The school encourages students to engage in various activities and sports such as creative writing, dance and music, fine arts, digital arts, table tennis, football, basket ball, kho-kho, skating, archery, throw ball, and volley ball.
The school’s admission process commences in December with the issuance of registration forms, and a written entrance test is held in mid February. Parents are required to submit the application form only on the day the child appears for entrance test.
Selection for Playgroup is based on one to one interaction with the child.
Admission selection for class XI is on the basis of marks secured in class X board exams.

Shubham Gautam, a student of The Chintels School, topped the city with 98.5 percent in ISC Examination 2015, followed by Tejas Porwal who scored 99 percent without English and 98 percent with English and Amandeep also with 98 percent (All the three received scholarship from the council for further studies).
Being a day school, The Chintels School does not offer accommodation facility.
