Nine cases of malpractice were reported in Karnataka on Wednesday while students appeared for the class 10 Social Science board exams.
Students are writing the ongoing Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exams in the state and on Wednesday, cases of copying and using mobile phones were reported.
Four cases of malpractice were reported in Dharwad, three have been reported in Raichur and one each is from Bengaluru South and Kalaburagi.
The incident in Bengaluru South at a Karnataka Public School saw one student being caught by the invigilator for copying in the exam hall. The four incidents in Dharwad witnessed students attempting to copy during exams and found having a mobile phone. The incidents were reported from GV Joshi Rotary English High School, two cases in Anjuman Urdu High School and another in Government High School, Hubballi Taluk.
In Kalaburagi and Raichur, the incidents were reported from Government Higher Primary School, Jeevargi and Government High School Manvi respectively. Students were caught copying here.
It may be recollected that on day 1 of the exams, during first language, 3 cases in two separate incidents were reported. The invigilators on duty were suspended for enabling the same.
