Ethical Hacking, also known as penetration testing, is an act of intruding/penetrating into a system or networks to find out threats, vulnerabilities in those systems which a malicious attacker may find and exploit causing loss of data, financial loss or other major damages.
Job Description
- Researching the company’s system, network structure, and possible penetration sites
- Conducting multiple penetration tests on the system
- Identifying and recording security flaws and breaches
- Identifying areas of high-level security
- Reviewing and rating the security network
- Compiling penetration test reports for the client
- Conducting penetration tests once new security features have been implemented
- Suggesting alternate upgrades
Eligibility
Class 12: Any stream (computer science as an optional subject gets preference)
Undergraduate courses: BE, B.Tech in IT / cyber security and forensic, B.Sc in networking and security, Bachelor degree in IT, Diploma in networking
Postgraduate courses: M.Tech in CSE / computer science & information security / cyber laws & information security
