The harrowing incident of a teacher brutally beating up a student inside a classroom in Tamil Nadu has taken gone viral and shocked many on social media. The incident took place in Nandanar Boys School in Tamil Nadu’s Chidambaram’s Durai Kaliyamoorthy Nagar.

The teacher, who has been identified as Subramanian, was taking Physics class for 12th standard students. Apparently, seven students had not been regular in attending the class, leading the teacher to beat them as punishment.

The incident was filmed by a classmate of the class 12 student. The teacher punished the student allegedly for skipping an earlier class.

The student was made to kneel and the teacher held his hair and continuously beat him up with a stick. Despite the student’s pleas that he would not repeat the mistake, the teacher went on lashing and kicking him.

Some others were also seen to have been forced to kneel down one after the other while Subramanian was caught on camera caning them. He was also seen kicking them repeatedly.

Another student from the classroom recorded the teacher’s atrocity and released it on social media.
