Founded by Vinod Gupta in 2013, Kimberley The International School, Panchkula is a co-educational, international day-cum-boarding school affiliated with the University of Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE), UK with English as the medium of instruction.
Sited on a 20 acre campus against a strikingly beautiful backdrop 30 kilometre from Chandigarh in the foothills of Shimla, Kimberley-The International School, Panchkula is the first school in north India to provide exclusively international curriculum. It is an international boarding school.
Kimberley promises to infuse in its students comprehensive techniques of learning and research, thus creating awareness. It aims in channeling the lives of the students in the right direction and develop them as responsible citizens of tomorrow.
Kimberley The International School is spread across 20 acres hosting well lit spacious classrooms, well stocked library with a wide range of different books on various topics and a host of other facilities.
It houses well-furnished different laboratories for web designing, photography, language learning, cooking, needle work and computers.
The residential block includes a professionally designed dining hall with state-of-the-art facilities. The air-conditioned bedrooms have attached bathrooms. The cupboards are spacious and the desks are equipped with ergonomic lightings.
The school houses a football ground, a badminton court, a swimming pool, a basketball court and a shooting arena for rifle practice that is still under construction.
All open spaces are under strict surveillance and are monitored under Closed Circuit Television (CCTV); security guards 24/7 staff every entry and exit points.
Offering education from class I through class XII, Kimberley The International School is affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), UK and solely concentrates on imparting learning on a global perspective. Alongside international curriculum, students are also provided opportunity to delve into their home culture and language, thus preparing them as outstanding individuals on a global platform.
Sports are mandatory for all students for at least two hours on a daily basis. The outdoor sports activities include swimming, football, basketball, tennis, cricket, trekking, river rafting, mountaineering, rock climbing, beach volley, athletics, cross country, aerobics and riding.
The school also offers classes based on research on methods to conserve the environment and demonstrate consideration for the poor and needy through unpaid assistance to them.

SportsApplication forms are available on the Kimberley The International School website. The completed application form should be deposited at the school office accompanied with a payment, as registration fee, of Indian rupees 10,000/- for residents of India & SAARC Nations. For residents of Non SAARC Nations, the registration fee of USD 350 must be made. This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee a seat reservation. Students who are registered will be called for an assessment test in January and April each year. The date and time of assessment will be intimated well in advance by the school office.
