Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School, Jaipur is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Promoted by the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Trust on April 4, 2007, the school has 65 staff members and 1163 students.

Campus

The school campus is spread over 15 acres with a built-up area of 6318.77 square meters which comprises two well-stocked libraries for junior and middle sections, labs for computers, mathematics and science, spacious classrooms, dance rooms, music rooms and medical infirmary.

The sports infrastructure includes indoor games facility, two basketball courts, two tennis courts with synthetic surface, handball ground, hockey and football fields, a cricket ground and swimming pool.

Academics

Affiliated with CBSE, the school offers classes from pre-primary to class XII.

The school provides interesting ways of learning subjects through projects, experiments, research and multimedia.

The school also organises field trips, educational excursions, picnics, soft adventure camps and visits to places of interest to enable students to relate class room instruction to real life situations.

Extracurriculars

Students are exposed to a wide range of co curricular activities such as karate, instrumental music, vocal music, Indian dance, Western dance, art and craft, block printing, poetry recitation in English and Hindi, handwriting competitions in both languages, Spell Bee contests, debates, reading marathon, assembly enactments, street plays, joy of reading, talent hunt activity, clay modeling and storytelling, among others.

Admission

The school issues admission forms from January 8 to 20 between 9 am to 2 pm. The last date for submission is January 25. The selection process by drawing lots is conducted on January 27 for RTE category and January 28 for general seats. If a vacancy arises in any category under general seats, the same is filled in from another category.

For classes I to XI, admission is subject to availability of seats.
