Founded in the 1983 by Late Ms. Ajit Karan Singh, Ajit Karam Singh International Public School (AKSIPS), Sector 14, Chandigarh is an English medium coeducational day school. The school is a part of AKSIPS Group of Schools operated by a charitable educational trust (NEDT) under the chairmanship of Dr. B N S. Walia.

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and recognised by UT Government, Chandigarh.

The school lays emphasis on nurturing students as intellectual citizens of tomorrow with values based on strong foundation and moral ideologies. It aims at improving the child’s thinking and creative skills and preparing them to face the challenges of life courageously and confidently.

Campus

AKSIPS Sector 41 Chandigarh hosts spacious well ventilated classrooms equipped with smart class facilities, an auditorium and a well-resourced library featuring reference books, periodicals, journals and magazines.it also houses well equipped laboratories for subjects such as science, mathematics and computers. The school also provides medical facilities under the supervision of a qualified doctor and transportation facilities for the safety and convenience of the students.

Academics

Affiliated with CBSE, AKSIPS Sector 41 Chandigarh offers schooling from pre nursery through class XII. The performance of students is assessed according to the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system and no periodic examinations are held for pre nursery, nursery and KG students.

Children are encouraged to participate in various co-curricular activities such as quizzes, debates, elocution, needle work, art and craft, cooking, computer education, etc. The school also organises educational trips and excursions and promotes various activity clubs for the all-round development of students.

Sporting activities include cricket, basketball, Kho-Kho, volley ball, table tennis, badminton, fencing, judo and karate under the assistance of trained coaches.

Fee structureOne time admission fee is Rs 14,000 and the refundable security deposit is Rs 2000. The annual fee school fee for different classes is as follows

Play way and Pre nursery: Rs.14400

Class XI and XII: Rs.25800
