Founded on June 6, 2006, Shantiniketan School, Kolhapur is an English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi offering education from pre-nursery through class XII. The school offers a unique blend of academic, culture, sports and values.

Campus

The 10 acre school campus hosts 76 classrooms with ICT teaching learning facilities, 8 well-equipped separate laboratories (Physics lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Primary Computer Lab, Secondary Computer Lab, Maths Lab, Language Lab and SST Lab), well-stocked library featuring 6769 general books, 110 reference books and 23 magazines.

Affiliated with CBSE, Shantiniketan School offers schooling from nursery through class XII. General Information

Admission

Age criteria for admission are as follows:

Upto 4 or 6 years of age: classes L.K.G/U.K.G.

Upto 6 or 8 years of age: classes I to III

Upto 9 or 11 years of age: classes IV to VI

Upto 12 or 15 years of age: classes VII to X

Admission procedure

1. Register for the admission process.

2. A student seeking admission for class I and above needs to undergo an entrance exam.

3. To be eligible for admission, 50 percent weightage is given to the previous year’s academic performance and 50 percent weightage is given to performance in entrance exam.

4. Once the child is eligible for admission the admission can be confirmed by completing the office formalities.

5. On confirming admission, parents need to obtain the date and time of reopening of the school and parent orientation programme.
