Presidency School, Nandini Layout, Bengaluru is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Presidency School was founded in 1976 under the banner of St. Paul’s English School. According to a school spokesperson, the word ‘Presidency’ has universal connotation for its ‘liking for all people’ and hence the name of the school was changed from St. Paul’s English School to Presidency School, in the year 1992.
The school’s mission is to be a professionally managed institution with a well designed quality management system that empowers all stake holders, teachers, students and parents to create a student friendly learning environment, having innovative learning practices that draw out the best in every student.
The campus facilities include spacious and modern classrooms equipped with brightly painted furniture and colorful display boards, well maintained library, dance and music rooms, labs for physics, chemistry, biology, math and computer science facilitated with a multimedia system along with software on varied topics related to the subject.
The sports infrastructure includes facilities for football, basketball, aerobics, tennis, cricket, yoga and karate.
The kindergarten section follows Montessori model that adopts inquiry based learning approach and addresses the uniqueness of each child with exposure to academics, dance, music, field trips, sports, and a range of hobby interests.
In classes I to IV, a thematic inter-disciplinary approach is adopted with a curriculum that encourages children to explore creativity, self-expression and social skills of adaptability and team work. From classes V to VII, the curriculum becomes challenging and prepares students for high school academic programme. Students learn concepts and study skills are honed; resourcefulness and commitment to work are encouraged. Extra curricular activities such as dramatics, music, art, dancing, games and sports are also encouraged.

The school admits children from pre KG to class I. The age eligibility for admission to pre-KG is 3 years as on May 31 of the year in which admission is sought.

According to a school spokesperson, Presidency School, Nandini Layout has always stood for and promoted the principle of a high academic level of excellence which are maintained from lower classes until students leave the school and constant expenses are met with towards the development in the advanced field of science and technology, mathematics, humanities, information technology, computers, art etc.
Being a day school, Presidency School, Nandini Layout does not offer accommodation facility.
