Overview

Founded in 2007, SYNA International School, Katni, Madhya Pradesh is a coeducational English medium day boarding school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and is managed by S N Education Society.

The school aims to provide a safe and secure environment which offers diverse opprtunities for students to pursue excellence, promote creative and critical thinking become self-reliant individuals.

Campus

The 1.97-acre school campus hosts spacious classrooms equipped with ICT classrooms, fully air conditioned well-stocked library features more than 5000 reference books, magazines, journals and newspapers, well-equipped laboratories for Computer, Science, Social Science, Maths and Home Science.

Other facilities include football and hockey ground, swimming pool, indoor games facilities and gym, school auditorium, science park, and sick bay.

Academics

The school follows the CBSE curriculum for classes I to XI. In classes I to V the students study English, Hindi, Maths, Computer, EVS, French & Sanskrit (V). From classes VI to X the subjects taught are English, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, Maths, Science and Social Science. The following streams are offered in class XI:

Science (Non-Medical) – English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science/Economics, Physical Education/Painting.

Science (Medical) – English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths/Computer Science/Economics, Physical Education/Painting

Commerce – English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Maths /Computer Science (Multimedia & Web Technology) / EPS, Physical Education/Painting.

General Information

Admission

For Pre-Primary admissions, the child is required to come along with parents for discussion and friendly interaction before admission is granted. For primary and secondary students, admission is granted on the basis of written test, followed by child’s interview.

Age Criteria:

Nursery – 3 years
LKG – 4 years
UKG – 5 years

During admission the child should bring the following:
1) Birth Certificate
2) Transfer Certificate
3) Mark sheet
4) Character Certificate
5) Indemnity Bond
6) 2 photographs of student
7) 2 photographs of parents

Fees – The annual tuition fee is as follows:

Nursery – UKG – Rs. 2000/-

Class XI & XII – Rs. 3700/-
