Overview

Promoted in 2009 by Shri Kamal Mangal and Shri Amit Shah, Anand Niketan, Maninagar is a co-educational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

Campus

The school campus hosts spacious classrooms equipped with Educomp smart boards, two fully networked ICT labs, well-equipped physics/ chemistry and biology lab, a sick bay, browsing room, rooms for dance, art and music.

Academics

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers education from pre-KG I through class XII.

Key Stage I (class I and class II) – During Key Stage I, children learn how to think imaginatively and talk about what they like and dislike while designing and creating.

Key Stage II (class III to VI) – The main subjects taught are English, maths, Science, Social Science and Hindi. Children have an array of activities to choose from such as yoga, dance and music, Budding Einstein’s Club, Mathemania Club, Reconnect Club, Chef Club, Health Club, Hands on Art Club, sports such as skating, Karate, cricket, table tennis, and football.

Key Stage III (class VII to IX) – The key skills that are emphasised on at this stage are: Communication – speaking, listening, reading, writing, Numeracy – application of number, ICT, improving their own learning and performance, team work, problem solving, and thinking skills – information processing, reasoning, enquiry, creative thinking, and evaluation.

Admission

Admissions are conducted from November to March.

Documents required for Pre K to class I admissions:

1. Registration Form

2. Attested Birth Certificate

3. Proof of Residence

4. 3 passport size photographs each of the child, father and mother

Admission process is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the campus

Collect the registration form

Step 2: Complete & Submit Registration Form

Enclose the required documents (Birth certificate for Pre K to class I)

(School Leaving Certificate & attested xerox copy of Report card from the last school attended for class II to class X

Step 3: Wait for notification from the school

Step 4: On being notified, Pay the fee
