Overview

St. Vincent’s School, Pune is an English medium day school for boys founded in 1867 and named after a seventeenth century saint, Vincent de Paul. The school is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) and offers education from kindergarten to senior secondary. The school is managed by the Poona Jesuit School’s Society, which is a member of the Christian Religious Minority group.

Campus

St. Vincent’s School, Pune campus hosts modern infrastructure and includes the office block, a well stocked library, well-equipped science laboratories, a contemporary computer lab with a student-computer ratio of 2:1 and spacious and airy classrooms. The school also offers an audio-visual room to aid the teaching-learning process, a stadium that was built for its Centenary Celebration in 1967, and an efficient and safe school bus facility. 

Academics

St. Vincent’s School, Pune is affiliated with the state board (MSBSHSE) and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.

It prepares the students for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination conducted at the end of class X and class XII respectively. Science and Commerce streams are available at the higher secondary level.

Extracurricular: 

The school promotes a host of extracurricular activities including sports (cricket, football, basketball and table tennis), drama, singing, dancing, quizzes and debates, all of which form an intrinsic part of the school curriculum.

Admission

The admission process at St. Vincent’s School, Pune starts in the month of January and application forms for admission to LKG are available in the pre-primary school office. A child who has attained 4 years of age is eligible for admission to LKG.  Admissions to other classes are strictly against vacancies.
