Ryan Global School, Andheri (RGS), part of the renowned Ryan International Group of Institutions, was established in Mumbai in 2009 with a mission to deliver high quality teaching and learning within a safe, energetic and intellectually-challenging environment.

Ryan Global School, Andheri, is a co-educational day school affiliated with the UK based Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE), offering the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum for grades IX and X and ‘A’ (Advanced) levels curriculum for grades XI and XII. It has also been accredited as an IB World School by the Geneva based International Baccalaureate (IB) and offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) till grade V.

The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with interactive whiteboards and Wi-Fi connectivity. Specialist teaching areas for biology, chemistry, physics, music, art, ICT and media are available in the school. As part of the sporting programme, the students have regular access to the swimming pool and the extensive outdoor sporting facilities.

Campus

Sited on a 1.2 acre plot in a five-storeyed building, with a built-up area of 47,346 sq. ft, Ryan Global School, Andheri has 36 fully-wired classrooms equipped with smart interactive boards and other ICT (information and communications technology) facilities. The school has a state-of-the-art library with 5,000 volumes and online research facility. Other facilities include dance and art studios, music rooms, a well-equipped computer lab, science laboratories, two multi-purpose halls, a children’s activity room etc.

Academics

Ryan Global School, Andheri, is affiliated with CAIE, and offers the Foundation level curriculum for grades VI to VIII, IGCSE curriculum for grades IX and X and ‘A’ (Advanced) levels curriculum for grades XI and XII. It has also been accredited as an IB World School by the International Baccalaureate, Geneva and offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) from grade I through grade V.

The school also offers the ‘English as an Additional Language’ (EAL) or ‘English as a Second Language’ (ESL) programme, the objective of which is to equip the students to cope successfully with the mainstream curriculum; specially trained English teachers help students who are not yet proficient in English. The programme helps students in one or more of the 4 skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Admission

For admissions into primary classes, the Ryan Global School, Andheri, conducts interviews of the candidates along with the parents. Admissions into middle school and above require writing RGS-A’s assessment test.

Fees: Rs.1.20 to 2.40 lakh per year, excluding uniforms, books and transport expenses.
