Overview

Promoted in 2009, Navrachana University, Vadodara (NUV) was envisioned as a multi-disciplinary university of global stature, offering opportunities for learning, research and betterment of the individual and society. The university focuses on academic as well as overall development of students and aspires to mould them into global citizens by providing up to date raining. The faculties are well versed and experienced in their core subjects. The university offers UG, PG and PhD courses in the faculty of Humanities, Education, Design and Architecture, Engineering and Technology, Pure and Applied Sciences, Management and Media and Communication.

Campus

General Information

Admission

BBA, BBA-LLB, BCA, BA (Journalism&MassCom), BSc+, BLISc, B.Design (Interior), MBA, MScIT, MHRM, BEd, MEd, and ECCE – Entrance Test and/or Personal Interview/Counselling.

B.Tech, B.Arch and MBA – Through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) of the Government of Gujarat. For BTech, 25 percent intake is on the basis of JEE Score at institute level. Management and NRI seats of the B.Tech and B.Arch programmes are announced separately by the Navrachana University as per the notification from ACPC.

The application form can be obtained from the Navrachana University office in person or downloaded online or candidates may apply online. A payment of Rs. 1000/- needs to be made in each case.

Accommodation

The university offers hostel facility for both boys and girls. The hostel is sited at a distance of 1.5 km from the university campus. The university bus service is available for commuting from hostel to the campus. The girls wing and the boys wing are housed separately in different floors. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Recreational facilities such as television, table tennis and throw ball/basket ball courts are available. Hostel stay is secured by cctv and 24 hour security at the entrance. The hostel has a good canteen that serves fresh, hygienic and tasty food to the students.
