Somalwar High School, Ramdaspeth is a co-educational, English medium day school. Shri G. S. Somalwar founded the Somalwar Academy in 1911 in Nagpur. The school is established under the aegis of the Somalwar Academy which runs 15 schools in Nagpur.
Somalwar High School, Ramdaspeth is affiliated to the Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, and offers classes from V to X (SSC). The group also runs the Somalwar English Primary School in the same locality. Students who complete class IV in the primary school are admitted into class V of Somalwar High School.

Admissions are open for class V. The students of Somalwar Marathi School, Ramadaspeth, and Somalwar English Primary School, Khamla, are directly admitted to class V. Other students can apply for admission and will be granted admission only if seats are available. Admission into others classes (VI-X) is rare.
The group also runs the Somalwar English Primary School in the same locality. Students who complete class IV in the primary school are admitted into class V of Somalwar High School.
