Founded in March 2008, Oakridge International School, Vishakhapatnam is a day cum residential co-educational English medium school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, Cambridge International Assessment Examinations (CAIE), UK and the International Baccalaureate (IB), Geneva. The school campus sprawls over 10 acres facilitating world class infrastructure to cater to the scholastic and non-scholastic interests of the students.

OIS, Vishakhapatnam campus spreads across 10 acres facilitating 30 spacious and well ventilated classrooms equipped with ICT learning, a computer lab hosting 81 computers configured with latest software and technologies and a school library stocked with 3658 books, journals, records, reference textbooks and other useful books.

OIS, Vishakhapatnam auditorium has a seating capacity of 500, and is equipped with the latest equipments. Sports facilities include a cricket ground, basketball court, football field, swimming pool, lawn tennis court and a badminton court.

Admission

The admission process commences in the month of November every year.

Documents to be produced at the time of registration:

• An attested photocopy of child’s birth certificate issued by the relevant Municipal Corporation or passport copy for date of birth proof
• Certificate from the school in which the candidate has been studying at the time of admission to Oakridge
• Six passport size photos of the child

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission:

• Blood group report
• Transfer certificate from previous school
• Photocopy of Immunization record

Accommodation

The school provides boarding facility for its students. The school hostel can accommodate 120 girls and 300 boys. The hostel offers a resident doctor on call, separate study blocks for supervised study and a dining hall that can accommodate 450 members, plus a kitchen.
