Madras Christian College (MCC) Higher Secondary School, Chennai is a co-educational day cum boarding school affiliated with the Tamil Nadu State Board of Education. The school aims to provide holistic education and inculcate a spirit of service towards the society among its students. Academics

MCC Higher Secondary School is an English medium day school, following the Tamil Nadu State Board Syllabus and offers education from LKG to class XII. Medium of instruction is English. However, there is also a Tamil medium section in each standard. Tamil, Hindi and French are the languages taught.

Co-Curricular:

The school promotes extracurricular activities such as art and craft, dance, vocal and instrumental music, drama, yoga, and quiz, besides sports such as basketball, hockey, table-tennis, badminton, volleyball, throw ball and athletics.

Admission

Admissions are open for LKG, class VI and class XI only. For LKG and class VI, application forms are available in December every year and for class XI, application/registration forms are issued in March. Application forms are available at the school office or can be downloaded from the school website.

For admission into LKG, the child should have completed three years of age. Birth certificate, community certificate and transfer certificates need to be submitted during the admission.

Students seeking admission to class VI should produce transfer certificate from the school last attended.
