Founded on June 14, 2005 Dhruv Academy is a co-educational day cum residential school and a member of Malpani Group – a leading and well diversified professionally managed family business house enriching many rural lives in western Maharashtra.

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and the medium of instruction is English.

The primary objective of the school is to provide students a sound, happy and stress free environment where students are able to identify their potential, enrich their independent thoughts and nurture their self-esteem for a better future.

The teachers of Dhruv Academy are considered as facilitators more than ‘teachers’, who follow a student-centric approach in imparting education. Campus

Dhruv Academy hosts technologically advanced spacious and airy classrooms equipped with Educomp Smartclass facilities.

The primary block comprises two laboratories and an audio visual room equipped with Educomp digital classroom facility and a playroom for the kids.

The secondary section includes laboratories for subject like maths, science, physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science, music, art and craft studio, multimedia room and computers.

The school houses a well-resourced library for pre-primary, primary and secondary section stocked with newspapers, magazines, books, periodicals and multimedia equipment for material references. Separate reading halls are offered for primary and secondary sections.

The boarding facility includes two separate hostels for boys and girls with a capacity to accommodate 120 students and well-furnished dormitories. Each hostel is attached to family quarters for home parents and every floor has been allotted with a matron.

The school campus is is under surveillance of a professional security agency with the latest safety measures installed within the campus.

Every hostel has a television set and a library for recreational facility.

The school provides 24 hour medical facility with a resident doctor and ten bedded nursing-home inside the campus.

Sports facilities include a badminton court, handball court, a 400 meter athletics track, a football field, a basketball court, a swimming pool, a skating rink, a netball court, a volley ball court, aerobics room, gymnasium, play parks, sandpits and indoor games facilities for students.

Academics

Affiliated with CBSE Board, the school offers education from preschool to class XII. The teaching methodology includes group discussions and ideology based on multiple intelligences that aims at providing a child with the various learning options and correct amount of guidance needed for a better tomorrow.

The school offers career and personal counselling classes and also offers opportunities for community service.

Dhruv Academy offers coaching for students in various sports to enable them to play on national and international level.
