A step towards empowered parenting

A step towards empowered parenting

We often wonder why ‘parenting’ – a role that we all must fulfil at some point in our lives – is so much hyped these days? With countless books being written on it and dozens of websites and apps dedicated to parenting, it is but natural to ask this question. But before seeking an answer to it, as parents, we need to objectively assess ourselves on three parameters. 1. Communication with your child – Are you able to understand everything your child is trying to communicate to you and is your child able to understand everything you are trying to communicate to him/her or is this an area you need to work more on?2. Performance of your child – Do you feel your child is performing at his/her potential best or do you feel your child can perform better and achieve better results? As a parent, are you contributing enough to unleash your child’s potential? 3. Any issues in your relationship – Are there any issues that crop up from time to time in the relationship you share with your child? What if all these issues were resolved? Would life be better? Would life be phenomenal? At the end of this assessment process, you will definitely realise there is a lot of room for improvement in the relationship you share with your child right now. This is where we step in. Parwarish – Workshops for Parents, Teachers and Children founded by Sushant Kalra along with EducationWorld brings you short videos every week on Wednesdays starting this week. The intention of these videos is to make day to day parenting easier for you and also to help strengthen and nurture the unique bond you share with your child. So watch out for more!#Joyfulparenting

1. Communication with your child – Are you able to understand everything your child is trying to communicate to you and is your child able to understand everything you are trying to communicate to him/her or is this an area you need to work more on?

Parwarish along with EducationWorld brings you short videos every week on Wednesdays starting this week. The intention of these videos is to make day to day parenting easier for you and also to help strengthen and nurture the unique bond you share with your child. So watch out for more!
